چکیده
The objective of this research was to improve the bearing capacity soil located on Kampung Juhut Street, Pandeglang Regency, which initially had a 3.01%, through stabilization methods. plastic powder selected as an additive due its non-cohesive characteristics, counterbalance cohesive nature clay soil. study aimed identify type and classification, evaluate impact physical properties, examine changes in unconfined compressive strength after incorporating proportions 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, with curing durations ranging from 0 28 days. results indicated that belonged category organic soils moderate high plasticity according USCS classification system. index decreased 22.9% 12.2% at 8% variation 11.9% 10% variation. initial 1.1 kg/cm2. greatest improvement observed variation, resulting value 3.4 kg/cm2, indicating highly rigid consistency.

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
The Effect of Geopolymerization on the Unconfined Compressive Strength of Stabilized Fine-grained Soils
This study focuses on evaluating the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of improved fine-grained soils. A large database of unconfined compressive strength of clayey soil specimens stabilized with fly ash and blast furnace slag based geopolymer were collected and analyzed. Subsequently, using adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), a model has been developed to assess the UCS of stabi...

The use of industrial by-products as admixture to ASTM Type I cement (ordinary Portland cement (OPC)) was investigated with the objective of improving the solidification of organic marine clayey soils. The industrial by-products considered in this paper were oyster-shell powder (OSP), steelmaking slag dust (SMS) and fuel-gas-desulfurized (FGD) gypsum. The industrial by-products were added to OP...
